周里京,仲星火,吕凉,李婉芬,任梦,杜澎,安雯,宫民,王凤奎海子（吕梁 饰）是一名整日里游手好闲的待业青年，因为学历不高，所以他找不到什么正经的工作，这让海子的父亲耿柱（仲星火 饰）感到非常的焦虑。耿柱东奔西走，总算给海子找到了一份邮递员的工作，可是海子对待工作一点都不认真，经常送错邮件。一天，海子和自己曾经的好友肖彪（周里京 饰）重逢了，肖彪是一个非常上进和自律的男子，他的精神深深打动了海子，在肖彪的影响下，海子决定去英语夜校上课，可是依他的性格，这件事情最终半途而废。海子来到了肖彪兄妹经营的羊肉串摊，做起了帮工，并且和肖彪的妹妹相谈甚欢，这可气坏了耿柱。

The child’s father does not want to be involved, so as a woman in the ‘30s in Sweden, Sally has no choice but to do what is expected of her: to be a mother. There is no place left for her dreams and Sally is pulled into bottomless darkness, until her sister Carla saves her. With renewed purpose, together the sisters begin to dismantle the conventions they are constantly facing. In late August 1939, Sally stands on the shore at Dover and takes her first step into the English Channel. She swims across the open and icy sea for 15 hours, waving to the Navy who are readying for war. A couple of days after Sally swims ashore at Calais, Poland is invaded.
